WOODVALE COMMUNITY HALL AND RECREATION RESERVE

Hi all,

This is an appeal to the community of Woodvale and surrounds:

The Woodvale Community Public Hall and the Woodvale Public Recreation Reserve are managed by local volunteer committees of management.

The current committees tenure ends on 31st August 2025, and new committees of management elections will take place during the month of July 2025 (at this point in time the16th July is being considered), and will take place at the Woodvale Recreation Reserve between 7:00pm and 7:30pm

PUBLIC NOTICE

Woodvale Recreations Reserve and the Woodvale Public Hall Notice is given of a PUBLIC MEETING to be held at Woodvale Recreation Reserve, Janaway Rd, Woodvale on Wednesday July 16, 2025 commencing at 7pm for the Woodvale Public Hall and 7.30pm for the Woodvale Recreation Reserve. The purpose of the meetings is to nominate no less than three (3) or more than nine (9) persons as the Committee of Management for the Woodvale Recreations Reserve and the Woodvale Public Hall for a term of three years. The current committee’s term will expire on 31 August 2025. All positions will be declared open, and nominations will be accepted prior to or on the night. Nominations from women, Aboriginal people, people with disabilities, young people and people from culturally diverse backgrounds are encouraged. Further information, nomination forms and nominee declaration forms may be obtained by contacting your local Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action office or at the meeting.
