 WOODVALE HISTORY PUBLICATIONS

Over the past number of years there have been four historical publications that have been produced describing this district, the people, how they lived, what they did, what family members and who went to WW1 etc.

One of the more important aspects of some of the publications are the historical buildings and sites that existed here, what and where they were, and a little about the  people that built and lived in them.

In essence the publications provide a snapshot of the history of Woodvale and how it evolved in time.

The incentive for the creation of the publications was principally to capture the family histories of residents, and photos and memorabilia while the information was available before our elder citizens passed on and it was lost to future generations.

The publications that exist for Woodvale are listed below, and can be purchased through this website, and the contacts listed below: The cost of the books is simply an effort to recoup the actual cost of printing and production, and no profits are made......
